With our Vectorworks Landmark training courses we have trained more garden and landscape design practices to use Vectorworks Landmark than anyone else. We can train you one to one, as part of a small group or on one of our scheduled classes—at our office in Newbury or at yours. All of our experienced Vectorworks trainers are also trained designers as well, so they understand the business issues and can relate the technology to your business needs. Our approach is relaxed and Vectorworks training days are always fun. We offer a wide range of training courses, but here is our portfolio of interest to the landscape industry.
-
Vectorworks Foundation Course
Before embarking on industry-specific training, we recommend all our customers start with our Vectorworks Foundation course. This course will teach you the basics of drawing in 2D with Vectorworks, how files and resources are arranged and how to make your 2D work look great! We also get you started with 3D, showing you the Push/Pull modelling features in Vectorworks and introduce you to walls, doors and windows.
-
Vectorworks Landmark Training
Following on from Vectorworks Foundation Training, attend the one day Vectorworks Landmark course to learn how to draw up a simple survey, add hard landscaping and create planting plans. There is a classroom option or a one to one training option.
-
Vectorworks 3D Modelling
The Vectorworks Landmark tools enable you to model many landscape features, such as buildings, paving, walls and planting, without the need to learn 3D modelling. However, those of you who are used to direct modelling with an application such as Sketchup, will love the range of free-form modelling tools available within Vectorworks which will take you from concept design through to finished models.
-
Vectorworks Site Modelling Course
Suitable for landscape designers and architects, this course covers how to create a site model using survey data from a variety of different sources. It looks at site analysis, including choosing the optimum level for buildings and other landscape features. You will then learn how to modify the site to accommodate your design and calculate cut and fill volumes. The resulting model is suitable for inclusion within a BIM project.
-
Renderworks Course
Learn to make the most of the lighting and texturing controls within Renderworks to get the best outdoor visuals from your landscape designs.
-
Vectorworks Landmark for Landscape Architects
Landscape Architects, particularly those looking to engage in BIM projects, will benefit from this end to end course which starts with survey input, building a site model, moves through the design process, including schedules, and looks at IFC export for BIM.
